ARCHIPELAGO “LA MADDALENA”
The National Park of the Archipelago La Maddalena is the first national park in Sardinia. It is a geomarine park that includes the entire marine area of the Archipelago “La Maddalena” and also includes all the islands and islets belonging to the Maddalena.
SPARGI ISLAND
You will be impressed by the fortifications located on the northern slope of Spargi, overlooking the sea, and camouflaged among the huge granite boulders and thick vegetation that characterizes the entire island. Spargiotto is a small island north-west of the island of Spargi, exposed to the Mistral storms. It’s a site of particular environmental value where rare species of sea birds nest, such as the cormorant with the tuft, the seagull, the bird of the storms.
